Research of magazine layouts!

Before I dive into doing this photo shoot I want to have some sort of idea of the layout of my Magazine, so I know what position to take the photos best and how to lay them out with my research!

I like this layout because it shows a main picture of the person been interviewed and on the other page states the interview with a subtitle which is a quote with main word in Bold lettering! This magazine layout look clean cut and professional!

This isn't my favorite interview layout as I think it looks to literal and tacky! But on the other hand I like how they have decided to lay it out with a main title followed by interview and a fantastic picture the chosen person!

When I start constructing my magazine article on Photoshop, I will be paying close attention to make sure the layout turns out something like this. It looks professional and would suit a high street fashion magazine!
With a professional picture on the left followed by interview, pictures and quotes to make the interview look real and not staged!

Experimenting with different lightings!

For the studio lighting on the camera I used the settings 'Black and white' I think black and white photos are the best sort of photos because it catches the contrast.
HAHA! Attempted to use the soft box to filter the light!

History of vogue.
The first ever issue of vogue was issued in 1892 but little did Aurther Turnure realise vogue would be the biggest fashion magzine of the 21st century! Vogue has won so many awards over the years its too many to count from best magazine to Britain's, America's and Japan's biggest fashion magazine!

Vogue infulences for the magazine layout were firstly from a king kong poster.

Research Paul Politis (Black and white photographer)
The work of Paul Politis is aim for simplicity, find the most attractive part of the composition and focus his picture outcome, whether that's a scene or a detail. Alot of Politis work is based outdoors as he prefers natural light setting. But when he does 'Nude paul brings the same concepts to his studios trying to get as much natural light as possible before artificial lighting is used.

This photo is called 'Rain' I really like this photo as the child is in focus through the wet glass.

This photo is called Graffiti bridge. An abstract mess of messages and
